2024 World Series odds: Are Dodgers, Yankees bound to collide?

October baseball is here and there's a familiar favorite expected to win MLB's Fall Classic.

The Los Angeles Dodgers were sitting atop the oddsboard as the lone favorite to win the World Series after taking down the New York Mets in Game 1 of the National League Championship Series.

However, the Mets stormed back to take Game 2 and tie the series before it headed back to New York.

Now, the Bronx Bombers are most likely to win it all, according to the odds.

Let's take a look at every team's updated 2024 World Series odds at DraftKings Sportsbook as of Oct. 15.

ODDS TO WIN 2024 WORLD SERIES: 

New York Yankees: +125 (bet $10 to win $22.50 total)
Los Angeles Dodgers: +185 (bet $10 to win $28.50 total)
New York Mets: +390 (bet $10 to win $49 total)
Cleveland Guardians: +750 (bet $10 to win $85 total)

After losing Game 1 of the NLCS, the Mets saw their odds drop to the bottom of the board, at +700. But their Game 2 win shortened their odds to +390.

The Dodgers went from +115 to +185 after the defeat.

Meanwhile, the Yankees shortened from +185 to +125 to win the World Series with their 5-2 Game 1 win over Cleveland.
